This policy explains how SAG Advisors LLC, doing business as Data Capital Advisors ("we," "us"), collects and uses information through datacapitaladvisors.com (the "Site").
Information we collect
When you submit our eligibility form, we collect the information you enter: your name, company, work email, phone number, industry, staff count, years of records, the systems your company uses, who referred you, and your consent choices. We also collect basic technical information such as your browser type and pages visited.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, company records, files, logins, passwords, account numbers or government ID numbers through the Site.
How we use it
- To contact you about whether your company may qualify for a data licensing program and to provide our services.
- If your company appears to qualify and you agree, to introduce you to a data licensing partner and share your contact and company information with that partner.
- If you asked about financing, to contact you about business financing options.
- To run, secure and improve the Site, and to comply with law.
Calls and text messages
If you check the optional calls and texts box, you agree to receive calls and text messages from Data Capital Advisors at the number you provided, which may be sent using automated technology. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
How we share it
We share your information only with: (a) a data licensing partner you agree to be introduced to; (b) service providers who help us operate, such as our CRM, email and hosting providers, under confidentiality obligations; (c) our affiliates within Shield Advisory Group for the purposes above; and (d) others when required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information.
Retention and security
We keep your information as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing [email protected] or calling 646-303-6828. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP.
Children
The Site is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new effective date.
